Mormon Prom
Five stakes get together each year to host a "Mormon Prom". It was a very successful event. Our Stake was in charge of food and the Stake YM & YW presidencies really went the extra mile. Kip's 2nd counselor is a chef and made swan shaped cream puffs and the ladies cooked crepe suzette to order. I spent over an hour putting frosting on hundreds of brownie bites.
Abby and her friends enjoyed being together and Kip and I even got to dance a little.
New Bathroom
The bathroom remodel is finally done.
It took two months but we are thrilled with the new space
and really love the big new shower.
It is also nice to be rid of the ugly wallpaper and the
hole in the ceiling that we have been looking at for about 10 years.

The most beautiful time of year
I love fall.
I don't think I appreciated it before we moved to the Midwest.
I think I love it more now because I know what is coming next.

Marching Band
September is a busy month because of Marching Band. This year both Emma and Abby are in color guard for their school bands. Abby is co-captain for her squad and is very polished. She has worked hard to perfect the rifle. These pictures are from the Bolingbrook parade.
